    Coming soon.

What Dreams May Come - from the film, the The Library of Heaven. The foreground is a real set, the bookshelves and columns are a real set on stage. The pool is real, the boat is real. The sunrise is cg, the reflection of the curved ceiling is cg. we painted all the rest.

Left a photo of the painted set with the pool filled, taken on the set. Right a set photo of the sailboat on the water. The set was built on a stage in a hanger on Treasure Island, formerly a Naval Station, now part of the city and county of San Francisco.

Drawing by architect Etienne-Louis Boullee, inspiration for the Library in Heaven.

What Dreams May Come - from the film, the upside down cathedral, the approach to Annie's Hell House.

Left a photo of the interior of Annies Hell House taken on the set. Right a set photo of the bowl of the upside down cathedral built outside the set of the Hell House on a stage in Alameda, California, where we have had the use of giant hangers at the old Alameda Naval Air Station.

From the film, a composite of a CG background above the rim of the bowl which was built on stage and sculpted and painted by San Francisco members of Local 800.

James and the Giant Peach - the peach about to crush the car as it rolls down the hill. San Francisco Scenic Artists sculpted and painted the peach, sculpted and painted the live action sets, and sculpted and painted the stop motion sets.

The Matrix - Reloaded - maybe the biggest set ever - a total of about 3 miles of freeway sound walls on both sides of a six lane freeway installed on the airstrip at the former Alameda Naval Air Station.

About 200 picture cars and dozens of trucks in addition to the 15 Trinity cars and the 12 Twins SUVs. San Francisco Scenic Artists aged them and painted signs on them.

An action shot, after first unit wrapped on the freeway work continued for another 6 weeks of second unit photography while the company moved into the same huge hanger that was used for What Dreams May Come to shoot the city interior set which took one entire hanger and the Zion set which took another entire hanger.
